Where Healing Comes Naturally

About SeKure Therapy Services
Welcome! My name is Kynaisha Ortiz-Nieves and I’m really glad you’re here. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your next step, you’re not alone.
I became a therapist after recognizing the deep need for people to have a safe place to process pain, uncertainty, and questions about direction. Life can be profoundly difficult, and there is rarely one “right” path forward. I believe life is an ongoing process of growth—continually discovering and redefining oneself.
My mission is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences and develop a deep sense of security within themselves. I support individuals in understanding their past, feeling grounded in the present, and moving toward the future with greater clarity, self-trust, and emotional freedom. I approach each client with respect, cultural humility, and openness, creating a space where they feel safe to be authentic and navigate life’s challenges.
I am a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University and an MA in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University. I am a certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapist and a certified Nurturing Parent. I have provided individual and family therapy across a wide range of diagnoses in outpatient and in-home settings. I use evidence-based, integrative approaches tailored to each client, helping build insight and coping skills. With extensive experience serving minority and underserved communities, I am committed to providing inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive services to clients and families.
